Many musicians of all ages are now starting to look towards the exiting possibilities which technology can bring to music. Whether you are a classical musician, a singer, guitarist or deck meister, you will benefit from learning more about sound and how to record yourself properly. |

If you learn how to plan and produce your own good quality recordings, people will notice. Friends and family will think you sound better and the people you are trying to impress (MySpace downloaders, examiners, record companies etc.) will appreciate the quality. Arranging tuition is easy! You can arrange for tuition at my own well equipped studio or if prefered, you can learn on your own equipment at home, the choice is yours. |

People of all ages and musical tastes are starting to use home recording, MIDI scoring and other areas of technology to enhance or expand their work. I usually gear the tuition to your particular needs and areas of interest so that you get the best from them.
The youngest student I currently have is 11 years old. She finds it fun and recently enjoyed doing her first recording on violin and keyboard. |
School music-tech students may find that some extra help would be very welcome. Especially if they have trouble understanding MIDI data editing and music scoring (a common problem), or if they are finding the school course is not quite giving them what they want.

Many musicians play on acoustic instruments and find the idea of using electronic equipment with music rather alien to them, however, the recording of acoustic instruments can be very rewarding.
The focus in recording acoustic instruments is much more on capturing a performance. |

Audio recording with a home computer is easily affordable these days. All you need is a PC or Mac with reasonably up to date features, an input channel/mixer and interface (often combined), some software and the means to conect it all. More coming soon. |
Useful advice to help you to set up a studio in a bedroom, spare room or study. |
Most synthesisers and even some home keyboards offer you the chance to make your own sounds. Making a unique sound of your own is great fun and is a really useful ability. |
